Richard Dey — Dey to Dey

Twenty years buying buildings for myself. Now I open the door.

Richard built the DeytoDey portfolio the slow way one whole building at a time, managed by his own team, on streets he can walk in an afternoon.

"We buy on the numbers and manage like owners — because we are."

Follow the journey week by week in Dey to Dey real deals, real numbers.

Questions

Before you ask.

Can I invest in UK property if I live abroad?

Yes. Non-UK residents can buy UK property freely. We handle the process end to end sourcing, solicitor coordination, and enhanced AML onboarding designed for overseas buyers, so distance is a logistics detail rather than a barrier.

Can non-residents get UK finance?

Often, yes. Several of our lending partners offer products for non-residents and expats. Terms differ from resident lending, and we'll introduce you to the right partner for your position we don't arrange finance ourselves.

How do viewings work from overseas?

Live video viewings with Richard or an advisor walking the actual building, plus full video surveys, floor plans and title documentation before you commit. Many overseas clients complete without visiting.

Who manages the property after I buy?

We do the same in-house team that manages our own £50m+ portfolio, overseen by RICS-approved site managers, with quarterly reporting sent wherever you are.

What are your fees?

Transparent and published: property sourcing at 2% of purchase price (payable on exchange, minimum £1,000) and commercial lease negotiation at 10% of first-year rent. Management fees depend on the asset you'll have them in writing before we start.

Is this regulated financial advice?

No. We provide property consultancy on direct property purchases. We don't provide regulated financial advice, and we'll always suggest you take independent tax and legal advice for your circumstances especially cross-border.
